Why Did You Decide to Become a Dentist?

Starting in high school, Dr. Karpman knew that dentistry was the career for her after shadowing her family dentist. She had always loved to build relationships with people and wanted to be able to provide healthcare for those in need. Dentistry naturally combines her love for science, patient care, and art. She also really likes working with her hands, and dentistry allows her to do so on a daily basis. In her eyes, she could not have chosen a better career, and she is grateful for the ability to serve Rocky Hill one smile at a time.

National parks are a favorite of theirs. To date, they have been to Yosemite, Yellowstone, Acadia, and Denali, and they look forward to exploring many more! In the summer, you’ll find the family spending their holidays and weekends on Lake George or on the shore in Mystic, and when the weather cools, they like to travel to Vermont and ski on their favorite mountain, Okemo. Dr. Karpman also likes to spend her free time walking her dog, Cooper, grilling, gardening, and doing yoga; she hopes to complete a teacher training someday in the future!
