Reading about the experiences of other patients can give you an idea if the cosmetic dentist you\u2019re considering will be a good fit for you. Keep in mind, however, that the people who are motivated to write reviews are sometimes those that have had either a really<\/em> good or really<\/em> bad experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

#2: Ask for Before and After Photos<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

You can often judge future smile results by looking at what a cosmetic dentist has accomplished in the past. For that reason, don\u2019t be afraid to ask a dentist for before and after photos. For example, intraoral cameras can take detailed pictures of your teeth and display them on a screen, allowing you to see exactly what your dentist sees as you discuss your aesthetic smile goals. In addition, you may want to choose a dentist that uses digital X-rays, which produce immediate images while emitting about 80% less radiation than traditional X-rays. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Does the cosmetic dentist offer various payment options? Unfortunately, many dental insurance plans do not cover cosmetic dentistry.
